Description
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a cryptocurrency created in 2017 as a result of a hard fork from the original Bitcoin network to improve scalability. It increased the block size limit, allowing for a higher volume of transactions to be processed at a much faster speed and lower cost. The project’s vision is to fulfill the original promise of Bitcoin as a "Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" suitable for daily retail use. While it shares the same 21 million coin supply cap as Bitcoin, its focus is primarily on medium-of-exchange utility rather than store-of-value.
