Description
Quant (QNT) is an interoperability protocol that uses its Overledger operating system to connect different blockchains and enterprise legacy systems. Unlike traditional bridges, Overledger does not require the creation of a new blockchain, but rather acts as an API gateway that enables cross-chain communication. This allows developers to build "Multi-Chain Applications" (mApps) that can leverage the unique features of multiple networks simultaneously. The QNT token is required for developers to access the network and for users to pay for license fees, making it central to the Quant economy.
