Description
Ethena (USDe) is a "synthetic dollar" protocol that aims to provide a decentralized and censorship-resistant stablecoin that does not rely on traditional banking infrastructure. It achieves its stability through a unique delta-neutral hedging strategy using staked ETH and short futures positions on centralized exchanges. This model allows USDe to generate a native "yield" for its holders while maintaining a 1:1 price peg with the US Dollar.
